Clouds
Nature often rewards us with incredible opportunities for photographing sunrises, sunsets and sun rays piercing through the clouds, creating stunning views. As a landscape photographer, I tend to wait for partly cloudy and stormy days, because clouds make photographs appear much more dramatic and vivid.
Colors
Colour in photography could definitely be seen as the most important factor. It can create mood, emotion, warmth, coldness and much more. Colour in an image can also be imperative to the narrative of the image. For example if the image is of a warm beach then warm colours in the image can emphasizes the narrative of this.
US States and Countries
The Colorado River winds through Nankoweap Canyon in Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona. North America's geologic history is writ large in the sandstone heights across the U.S. West.
My Selection
My goal is to stay focused along a similar themes, themes that I want people to recognize, identify with, and view. This may not be the only area of aesthetic that I want to show, but sometimes you have to crawl before you can walk.
